How to Sell 2,000 Tickets in Vienna in One Month

How to Sell 2,000 Tickets in Vienna in One Month

Marketing is no longer about what you do, but about what story you tell” — Seth Godin

April 2026. Wiener Stadthalle is one of the most prestigious concert arenas in Austria. On stage — Max Barskih, Zlata Ognevich, Klavdia Petrivna and Maxim Borodin. In the hall — 2,000 spectators who came not just to the concert, but to feel at home and support Ukraine.

“Stronger Together” — a charity concert of Ukrainian stars in Vienna — became one of the most high-profile cultural events for the Ukrainian diaspora in Central Europe in 2026. With the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Austria, in partnership with Dream Day Agency, mticket and Esse Events, the Superheroes.Marketing team took on full marketing support for the event.вий супровід події.

Result? Sold out. Full hall.

CHALLENGE

At first glance, the task looked like a standard promotional campaign. In fact, it was a real challenge on several levels:
Time. One month from the start of the campaign to the concert date. Without a long warm-up of the audience, without the ability to build a long-term sales funnel.
Audience. Two fundamentally different segments: Ukrainians abroad (Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia) and the local Austrian audience. Different languages, different pain points, different motivations for buying a ticket.
Charitable goal. The concert had not an entertainment mission, but a charitable one — each ticket was a real help to Ukraine. This required a special approach to messaging: not just “buy a ticket”, but “make a contribution”.
Scale. 2000 seats in the hall — not a club event. This required real reach, a large number of touchpoints and flawless conversion.

This was not a classic advertising project. It was a marathon for speed.

WHAT THE TEAM DID

The Superheroes.Marketing marketing system consisted of four parallel blocks of work:

1. Infrastructure preparation
Before launching the advertising, the team built a complete marketing foundation: developed the main poster and dozens of advertising creatives, created the project’s social networks, prepared texts for various platforms, and formed a database of communities on Facebook and Telegram. In parallel, system testing was carried out – creatives, audiences, and messages were tested to find the most effective connections: creative → audience → message.
2. Digital campaigns (Meta + TikTok)
During the period from March 6 to April 10, 2026, the team launched large-scale advertising activity on two platforms:
Meta: 16 advertising campaigns, 86 ad groups, 244+ creatives with different variations of texts, photos, and videos.
TikTok: a separate campaign with 6 ad groups and 30+ formats, connected in the final week to boost sales in the final phase.
Active A/B testing, constant optimization and scaling of the most effective connections allowed us to quickly increase demand. The peak of sales fell on the final days – the effect of limitation and active communication worked flawlessly.

Key indicators of advertising campaigns:

DYNAMICS

Peak daily number of impressions: 89,225 (March 26)
The highest revenue in one day was recorded on March 10 – at the start of the active phase of the campaign

3. SMM and communication support
The team conducted full-fledged interaction with the audience – regular content, work with Direct and comments, consultations on tickets. In parallel, the artists’ fan communities on Instagram, Facebook groups, Telegram channels were developed for organic distribution of announcements. Publications were placed in paid and free channels in all key cities of the region.

Design
A complete design system was created for the event: the main poster, 8+ series of static and animated creatives for different platforms, design of the photo zone, roll-ups, badges and cards for the presenter. All materials were adapted for three languages - UA / DE / EN – and for different audience segments.

RESULT

Sold out – 2000 tickets – in one month. Thanks to the coordinated work of the entire team and the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Austria.

CONCLUSION

This project proves that even under tight time constraints, the right system gives results. The Superheroes.Marketing team built not just an advertising campaign, but a full-fledged marketing machine that filled a 2,000-seat hall in the heart of Europe in one month.
The final sold out is the result of the coordinated work of the entire partner ecosystem. Superheroes.Marketing advertising channels provided a significant part of the sales, but the full picture consisted of the contribution of each team member: Dream Day Agency as the organizer of the event, the Wiener Stadthalle venue, the mticket ticket platform. It was this synergy that turned the challenge into a triumph.
Sold out is not a coincidence. It is architecture. It is a story told together, and the contribution of each viewer, which became a real help to Ukraine.
